Jane is a professional harpist serving the Northwest Ohio area. At age 13, Jane began taking harp lessons and instantly became enamored with the harp's beautiful sound and unique challenge. Although she often remembers begrudgingly practicing the piano, an instrument she began at age 6, she never remembers her mother having to remind her to practice the harp. She now loves sharing her love of the instrument through teaching and performing (and still enjoys occasionally brushing up on her piano skills).
Jane has her Bachelor of Music degree in Harp Performance. She began her degree at Brigham Young University and (due to her wonderful husband’s career that relocated her to Louisiana) she finished her degree at McNeese State University in 2017.
In Louisiana, Jane was awarded the Anita and Joe Tritico Performing Arts Scholarship, performed for several years as principal harpist with the Lake Charles Symphony and MSU Wind Symphony and built a thriving harp and piano studio while doing freelance performing on the side.
Jane briefly lived in Idaho Falls, ID, where she again built a thriving studio of lovely students while doing freelance performing. Her favorite event in Idaho was performing at various locations across Southeast Idaho as principal harpist in Witness Music’s production of Lamb of God.
Jane recently relocated to Perrysburg, Ohio where she lives with her husband and two adorable children.
